Directions

Before starting the Easter crafts for preschoolers steps, you will need to tear newspaper into lots of strips. Blow up the balloon and tie it tightly. Flour is great to make glue especially if you need a lot of glue. Mix it with water in a large bowl. Grab newspaper strips and dip them in the glue. Cover the balloon with the glued newspaper strips until it completely covered. Let it dry completely. It is best to wait until the next day before applying the next layer. Repeat this process twice so there will be total of 3 layers. After the third layer is completely dry, you can paint the balloon white.

The top of the balloon is the narrow part. Draw big ears and feet on construction paper and cut them out. Apply glue on the feet and stick to the bottom of the balloon first so the balloon can stand by itself. Cut out pink paper for the inside of the ears. Stick the ears on top of the balloon. Stick some cotton on the front for the bunny lips. Make a bunny nose by sticking on a pink pom-pom above the lips. Make the whiskers using black pipe cleaners by sticking it on the lips. Stick two googly eyes above the nose. You can now pop the balloon. This paper piñata bunny can be used for display or fill with candy and sweets. Enjoy your Easter crafts for preschoolers!
