Have you ever thought of decorating an old mirror by adding up various frames around it using old cutleries collection? These creative home accessories will look intriguing when hung on the dining room’s wall! Here are some steps to make it:

1.    Choose an old mirror that you wish to make over, it can be adjusted from one of the bedroom’s collection or dig up the storage room to find one. Any shape will do, but round mirrors is strongly recommended.
2.    Grab some old cutleries, can be forks, spoons or knives of the same size or various ones and paint them with the colors that suit the tone of the dining room’s wall and furniture. For more dramatic effect, paint them in dark colors like dark brown or maroon, for more classy effect, use golden and its gradation. For fancy, contemporary look, combine several light colors to give retro effects.
3.    Create frame from those cutleries when dry enough, using super glue. Arrange the cutleries around the mirror, and do this up to two or three levels, so it will look like a sun or sunflower. Before placing it on the wall, make sure that all elements are well intact. Mirror home accessories can also be placed on the porch or backyards where family usually throws barbeque or garden parties.

Various decorations can be created based on these materials, such as: outdoor chandelier, candle holders and picture or mirror frames. Since tissue rolls are easier or more flexible to cut and form, the variations of its design is more than PVC pipes. Combinations or curls and round shapes of tissue rolls can create exotic frames for family photo or mirror. Home accessories from PVC will require tougher process as the cutting is not easy. However, with electronic cutter, any shapes are possible to make from this material. Chandelier from pipes is also budget friendly as what it takes only wire or string to arrange and tie round shapes pipes (cut and painted before), bamboo or thicker wire as the structure of chandelier and of course paints.  This is very cute to be hung on the porch or backyard.
