Materials

What you need in this Craft Warehouse project includes glitter glue, Scrapbook papers of your choice or photos (it is best to use the laser copies of your original photos as they won’t bleed and mess the project), Pre-cut 1.5″ cork backers, Bag of jumbo glass drops, Small paint brush, 2″ scallop circle hole punch Ultimate Glue (or choose 1″ round magnets if you want to make larger magnets), and “JOY”, PEACE”, “Merry Christmas” vinyl.

Directions

Before starting this Craft Warehouse project, you will need to clean the glass drops with a tissue or clean lint cloth to remove dust and cloudy film. And then rub on the vinyl design onto the good side of the glass drop. Lay out how your scrapbook paper you would like to use as the background for your paperweight. You can do this by holding the glass drop on top of the paper and moving it around according to your favorite position. It has to be positioned under the vinyl design. Grab a circle punch and punch out the paper.

Continue the Craft Warehouse project, by applying glitter glue to the whole part of the front side of the paper circle. You can do this using paint brush and do this onto back of glass drop. Please remember that you must avoid air bubbles. You can get rid of unsightly air bubbles by rubbing along the back of the paper using your fingernail. This will pull any air bubbles out through the edges of paperweight. Clean the mess of any glue that oozes out and wipe them off. Let it to dry completely. Peel off the circle of cork and stick it to the back of the paperweight. If you are using magnets, use Ultimate Glue to stick the magnet securely to the back of glass drop. Let it dry and you can enjoy your glittery holiday paperweight.
