Building the Castle
Start the crafts for toddlers project by cutting the box in half into two pieces but make them different size, one smaller than the other. Repeat this process with the cardboard tube so you have two boxes and two tubes. The boxes will be the building while the tubes will be the tower of the castle. Prepare the round pot as it will be used for the main tower of the castle. Cover them all in glue and then cover their entire surface with newspaper. Newspaper will caused the castle to have effect of brick grey wall. Grab the paper plate. It is best to choose a green plate so the castle will look like standing on grass. Stick all the boxes, tubes containers and pot onto plate using your glue stick. Imagine how a castle looks like and arrange them so they look like one. For example, you can put the pot on the front as the main tower for the main gate and put the tall box and lower tubes on the sides. Put the lower box in the middle and the tall tube at the back. Glue them together and you can now see the overall appearance of the castle.
You can add details by painting bricks and a drawbridge on the castle. Cut out paper into little squares to decorate the towers top and window shapes. Draw some small detail with black pen. Now your castle of crafts for toddlers is ready to play with.
